Express Mail is $25 for delivery in 2-4 weeks. Los Angeles County recorder will give all marriage licenses accompanied by an Express Mail envelope priority recording.

Fast is Express Mail in 2-4 weeks and the cost is $25
Slow is regular mail in 8-10 weeks.
If you are planning to change your name, start the immigration process, change insurance, order a passport or retire and you need a copy in a hurry please let us know and order the Express Mail for $25.
So often the county takes 8-10 weeks to process and record the license. Most couples do not want to wait and use the Express Mail option for fast service.

Certified Copies of the Marriage License:
Once you are married the only way to receive a copy is to pay $13 for each certified copy. The fee for the marriage license does not include any certified copies. The one exception to this is if you are married by us in our chapel or your location. We often include the first copy with our fees.
If you purchase the license and are married by another minister or clergy we do not pay for the copy and that is your responsibility.
Copies are $13 Each and only the couple can purchase copies from the Recorders office.
Certified Copies are $13 each. You can order extra copies at the time of your wedding or 8-10 weeks later from the county directly.
If you are planning to go thru the immigration process you will need to purchase 3 copies.
